Our History.
Reliance Industry FZE is founded in 2024 in Calabar. The Company use locally sourced cassava as raw material to produce ethanol as main product. Daily consumption of cassava is 200 metric tons of dried chips, and 600 metric tons of fresh tubers. The total production of ethanol is 20,000 metric tons per annum with a purity of 96% plus, which makes Reliance Industry FZE the biggest ethanol plant in the South-South, with the largest cassava consumption and the highest ethanol output. Reliance Industry FZE is located in the Calabar Free Trade Zone. Our Cassava suppliers roots not only in Cross River, but covers Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, Delta and our warehouses in Benue. Our high cassava consumption brings wealth to over 15,000 farmers, it generates enormous business value to the local agriculture, and also creates a huge push to the transition from peasant farming to commercial farming. Our company is devoted to lead the local industrialization, and has created nearly 2,000 job opportunities for local residents, directly and indirectly. More stable job opportunities will be available, which will provide not only wealth, but skill training. Reliance Industry sees environmental protection as its own duty. As a result, a Sewage Treatment System with most advanced Bio-Technology is built, which cost 5 million dollars. This system will not only protect the local environment from any pollution, but also accumulates valuable experience for the career of environmental protection. Our company acts as a leading role in the ethanol industry with its high standard. The harmony between Chinese and Nigerian employees, will serve as a beacon, shining with the light of this friendship between China and Nigeria.
